Fellow Democrats, March will be busy, and we need help to ensure that the Caucus that is taking place on Saturday, March 26th starting at 10 am will be a success. Past Caucuses have been held in person, and we all have memories of those. Virtual Town Hall!

Join all three lawmakers from the 45th District – Rep. Larry Springer, Rep. Roger Goodman, and Sen. Manka Dhingra – for a virtual town hall meeting at 7pm on Thursday, Feb 24. They will be reporting on major issues before the Legislature and would love to hear your feedback. You can submit questions live during the event by entering them in the comments section or ahead of time at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/LD45TownHall. The first Wednesday of every month, the 45th District Democrats meet to hear from candidates and elected officials, make endorsements, discuss state and local issues, and conduct Democratic Party business.

Help Our Schools — Sign Up For Phone Banking! (Special Election February 8, 2022)

Lake Washington and Northshore School Boards will both have ballot measures (school levies) on the February Special Election ballot. We need phone bankers from the 45th LD to work alongside phone bankers from the 46th and 1st LDs to support these important levies. Help get the word out!  We will be making calls up to election day (February 8, 2022). Overview You will be are using Virtual Phone Banker (VBP). For an overview of VBP, watch these  tutorials. February 8 2022 Special Election

Ballot Measures* Lake Washington School District No. 414 Measures Proposition No. 1  Replacement of Existing Educational Programs and Operations Levy Vote yes to renew our commitment to a quality education for all our students.  This measure funds essential services not covered by the state and accounts for 14% of the district’s budget.  Failure to pass this measure would result in drastic cuts to educational programs, student support, and services.
