Submit Platform Feedback

All Democrats in the 45th Legislative District are invited to provide feedback on our draft platform. Please submit your comments on the form below, submitting a separate form for each comment. Platform feedback must be submitted by noon on Friday, March 25; we will only accept deletions to the platform at the caucus, not additions or wordsmithing.

Submit a Resolution

All Democrats in the 45th Legislative District are invited to submit resolutions to be considered. Resolutions should follow the King County Democrats’ resolution instructions. Adopted resolutions will be published on our website and will be forwarded on to the state party for consideration.

Call to the 2022 Caucus!

The 45th LD Democrats’ Caucus is scheduled for Saturday, March 26 at 10AM. The caucus will be virtual this year. Click here to register for the Caucus on Zoom. The principal business of the caucus is the election of 26 delegates and 13 alternates who will then attend the 2022 WA State Democratic Convention. The 2018 caucus season is coming! On March 24, we will gather to elect delegates to the state convention; adopt a platform; consider resolutions; and hear from candidates for office, including 45th LD state House and Senate seats and 1st and 8th CD House seats. The 45th Legislative District Caucus (hereafter the 45th LD Caucus or Caucus) shall be held on Sunday, April 17, 2016 commencing at 1:00 PM, at the Juanita High School Fieldhouse, located at 10601 NE 132nd Street, Kirkland, Washington, 98034. What to Expect at your LD Caucus

The caucus process at the legislative district level is time consuming; you should expect to spend the day at the caucus.  There are several activities that must be completed for the caucus to be a success. Registering and credentialing around 1,200 people will take a significant amount of time. It is highly recommended that you arrive early.  To be certain you receive your credentials, make sure you arrive for registration prior to 1:00 p.m.  Completing and printing the online pre-registration form will help this process be as smooth and fast as possible, but you will still need to check in...
