As summer fades and fall approaches, it can be easy to get dispirited by the litany of tough issues facing us. But take heart in the collective work at hand as we enter the home stretch in the November elections – so many great volunteer opportunities! – and make your voice heard in the once-a-decade redistricting process.
Gratitude for all of the work that lead to successful primary results for our 45th endorsed candidates, tempered with a realization of the tasks that remains to secure victories in the November General Election.
August primary ballots have now arrived in most mailboxes. Please do your best to support the candidates and ballot initiatives endorsed by the 45th Democrats – by voting, by getting your friends to vote, and by volunteering for campaigns.

Two more candidates will be presented for a member endorsement vote: Penny Sweet for Kirkland City Council, Position 3 and Janet Richards for Redmond City Council, Position 2.
