Ad hoc and Special Committees

Ad hoc committees are formed as necessary. Ad hoc committee chairs are appointed by the district chair and are not members of executive board, although they are encouraged to attend executive board meetings. A Precinct Committee Officer (PCO) for the Democratic Party in a legislative district precinct plays several important roles: The specific duties and powers of PCOs can vary depending on state and local party rules.
