A Precinct Committee Officer (PCO) for the Democratic Party in a legislative district precinct plays several important roles: The specific duties and powers of PCOs can vary depending on state and local party rules. Their overall goal is to strengthen the Democratic Party’s presence and effectiveness at the most local level of political organization.  In the WA State 45th legislative district, we are doing a lot to bolster the role of PCO, and to increase the number of PCOs that we have.   We want to build a learning community of PCOs.  Towards that end, we are looking for some...

The fundraising committee is responsible for raising money, most of which is currently spent on voter guides (regarding endorsed candidates, for example)  for the voters in our legislative district.  However, if we are able to raise more money, we can aspire to do more things!
