  1. Appoint secretary pro tem.
  2. Quorum report.
  3. Consent agenda. [Member vote]
  4. Endorsements where the Endorsements Committee has finished deliberations. [Member vote]
    • A motion from the floor is may be made regarding endorsement of a position on Initiative IL26-645, concerning a repeal of the newly passed Millionaire’s Tax.
  5. Recommend Precinct Committee Officer (PCO) appointments for the 2025-6 biennium. [PCO vote]
    • Reminder of our new process: The PCO point of contact researches applicants. If you have information pertaining to an applicant, please submit it to pcohelp@45thdemocrats.org. We ask applicants in the meeting to affirm that they are a Democrat and, optionally, tell us a little bit about themselves and where their precinct is. The point of contact presents their report, if any. Then we hold the recommendation vote. There is no debate.
    • Status update on previously recommended applications: Margaret Bouniol, John Saeger; Charles Dold; Jim Good.
    • Applicants for consideration: Peter Clift; Cary Gibson.
    • Please apply for appointment of your unrepresented precinct this biennium or adopt a nearby precinct. Also, send a note to pcohelp@45thdemocrats.org so we can help if your application runs into any problems.

  • Open call for news and announcements from our members and affinity groups.
  • There will be a judicial candidate forum for the WA Supreme Court elections, Monday, July 20, 2026.
  • Washingtonians for Public Banking have arranging a speaking tour for Don Morgan, President and CEO of the Bank of North Dakota, which is the only state owned and operated public bank in the country. During his talk, President Morgan will discuss how the Bank of North Dakota operates, and how we can bring this unique institution to Washington.
