2018 February Special Election Endorsements
This February’s special election is all about school funding. There are multiple bonds and levies across all of the school districts that overlap our legislative district and we unanimously voted to endorse all of them.
Even with last year’s McCleary fix, our schools are still underfunded. These measures help bridge the gap, funding essentials like special education, early learning and highly capable programs, school nurses, student computers, building new schools, athletic fields, and performing arts spaces, and more.
Bonds require 60% approval with a minimum turnout threshold, so make sure your vote is counted! Click on the links below to find out about the specific bonds and levies in your school district.
Special election ballots will be delivered around Friday, January 26, and are due Tuesday, February 13, no later than 8 p.m.
To vote in this election, register online or by mail by Monday, January 15 or register in person by Monday, February 5.
