Join the next General Meeting!
Fellow Democrats,
I would like to personally invite you to our next General Board Meeting on Wednesday the 3rd February starting at 6.30 pm for social talk with the business meeting beginning at 7 pm.
This month, our speakers are medical staff and Commissioner from Evergreen Hospital, who will speak the facts of the scheduled and ready to share information about the state of vaccine roll-out; please invite your friends and neighbors for this essential and timely talk. There will be time for a few questions set aside. Please scroll down see speakers’ bios.
By now, if you have contacted our volunteer committee to offer your services, please be patient; we will get to you. I am proud to announce that our Executive Board represents at least one member from every city we serve. Redmond, Duvall, Sammamish, Kirkland, and Woodinville.
Our Committee Chairs have been confirmed; please check our Current Board page to find out more.
The Committee Chairs of the 45th are probably the most hardworking as team leaders; they are responsible for their team and their team progress in the 45thLD. I will be obtaining their asks and wants at our February Retreat, but they cannot fulfill their roles without your help.
I urge all of you to dig deep and offer your time to them – even if it is only for a short time – the month of March, the month of April – we cannot put all the workload on the shoulders of a few. We must all stay engaged by volunteering and spreading Democratic Values.
See you on the 3rd.
In Solidarity,
45th LD Chair
Linda Jenkins (she/her)
