Congratulations to the new leadership of the King County Democrats!
Yesterday, the Democratic precinct committee officers of King County got together in Seattle’s South Park neighborhood to reorganize the King County Democratic Party. The 45th LD showed up in force to participate in the reorganization, led by State Committeeman Andrew Villeneuve and State Committeewoman Priscilla O’Leary.
After three rounds of balloting (during which King County’s state committeeman and state committeewoman were elected to new terms), Rich Erwin took his place behind the podium as the new chair. PCOs proceeded to elect four vice chairs, a secretary, and treasurer.
The 45th District Democrats congratulate Rich, Omaha, Joel, Christina, Julius, Javier, Ann, Roger, and Dave on their victories at yesterday’s reorganization. We look forward to working with them to reelect Jay Inslee, Patty Murray, Larry Springer, and Roger Goodman in 2016, and finally elect a Democrat to the county council from the 6th District in 2015.
