Happy Filing Week!

This is the week when all candidates and Precinct Committee Officers must file for election. Have you filed yet? Would you like to be a Precinct Committee Officer (PCO)? It’s easy, free, and vital to the success of our party and our platform!

If you would like to continue as the Democratic PCO for your home precinct, all you need to do is file online before 4:30 PM this Friday. It takes only a moment, and there is no fee. File here.

If you would like to become a PCO for the first time, fantastic! Thank you! You’ll use the same online link above, but we ask that you please send us a message to make sure there is not a returning PCO in your home precinct.

PCOs are the face of the Democratic Party in our community. With support and tools from the 45th, you’ll get to know other Democratic voters in your neighborhood, then make sure they’re registered and ready to cast an informed vote in each election.

PCOs also play a huge role within the party organization. PCOs elect the officers of the 45th and the King County Democrats. When there is a sudden vacancy in a legislative district, the PCOs vote to determine which candidate to recommend to the County Council. In the last year, PCOs have played a role in filling 3 seats in the state legislature just in King County.

We need your help to make sure we turn out every Democratic voter in our community and get our state moving forward again! We can’t do it without you.

Thank you for filing, and don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions at all.
