We cherish our American heritage of opportunity and inclusion. We pledge ourselves to justice and equality for all as guaranteed by our Constitution and the Bill of Rights. We commit ourselves to restoring good government that serves and protects all its people. "There is nothing wrong with America that cannot be cured by what is right with America."

To regain people's trust, government must:

  • Draw us together as a caring community.
  • Respond competently to disasters and emergencies.
  • Ensure that our economic policies are just and sustainable.
  • Provide every child with access to a good education.
  • Balance the budget fairly and responsibly.
  • Keep our judicial system free of politics; preserve the rule of law.
  • Respect religious liberty by upholding the separation of church and state.
  • Provide national security; use diplomacy before force.
  • Protect human rights at home and abroad.
  • Assure a healthy environment for ourselves and future generations.

The Fortyfifth District Democrats believe that through good government we can accomplish great things for our community. We meet monthly. Visitors are welcome.
