A recent letter to the editor tried to paint Roger Goodman as a single-issue candidate. If you check his Web site, he has identified seven issues that are important to Washington residents: health care, fiscal responsibility, education, growth management, traffic and transportation, public safety and the environment.
I do not understand why one would try to use his past efforts to address the problem of drug use in this country to paint him as a single-issue candidate. It sounds more like someone who has the courage to take on real issues and fight for what he believes in.
We need more candidates like Roger Goodman.
