Clearly Nathan Jelovich has a reason for calling Goodman a “one issue candidate” but it is not based on fact. Roger Goodman has professional experience in federal and state government as well as working in the non-profit arena. Have you been frustrated in traffic lately? Do you have concerns about the CAO (Critical Area Ordinances)? As Congressional Chief of Staff, Legislative Director, and Legal Counsel Roger Goodman specialized in transportation, energy, and environmental issues, all key issues in the 45th LD. Have you read about domestic violence in the paper lately? In his work as Director of Washington’s Sentencing Guidelines Commission he stood tough on domestic violence and obtained penalties for violations of protection orders then got legislative approval to fund and thus enforce these laws. This is just a small sampling of what Roger Goodman’s qualifications are. We in the 45th LD are lucky that someone with his balanced approach to multifaceted problems is willing to dedicate himself to public service.
