Mission

To increase the awareness of Democratic activities by diverse people, groups and organizations within our communities. Recruit new members.

Function

  • Membership recruitment, provide member information to LD database management
  • Public and press relations
  • Letters to the Editor programs
  • Public service efforts
  • Parade and public event participation
  • Education programs
  • Liaison with other organizations that share our Democratic ideals (e.g., unions, campaigns, DFA/DFW, youth involvement groups,
  • Coordination with other LD organizations, WSDCC &KCDCC outreach program
  • Communications with down-ticket elected officials, including in non-partisan offices
